Recommended Food

Hello!
I’m Mai Yakushiji, a sophomore in the School of Language and Communication.
I went on a trip to South Korea with my friends during summer break.
Don’t most of you think that almost all Korean food is spicy?
But there are actually plenty of dishes that aren’t spicy. Let me introduce some of the things I ate on this trip.
① [Kalguksu]

② [Yukhoe Bibimbap]

In Korea, kimchi is always served with meals, but since the spiciness and flavor vary by restaurant, I recommend trying it at different places.
③ [Fruit Daifuku: Han Jeong-seon]

This is [Han Jeong-seon], a famous fruit daifuku shop in Korea. My top recommendation from this shop is the Greek yogurt fruit daifuku. The fruits used change depending on the season, so you can enjoy different varieties throughout the year.
Greek yogurt is very popular in Korea, and there are many desserts made with it. One standout is Gongcha’s [Greek Yogurt & Mango Crush], a Greek yogurt mango drink. This drink is exclusive to Korea, so it’s definitely something you should try if you visit.

There are plenty of dishes that even those who don’t like spicy food can enjoy, so I highly recommend taking a trip to Korea!
