A short trip to Kamakura and Enoshima
Hello! I'm Jenny, a third-year Department of Digital Business Innovation student!
I went on a summer vacation trip with my committee last week! Wow, It was enjoyable.
The first place we visited was Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine. The trees provided shade, alleviating the heat.
We fed some hungry turtles at Genji Pond, which was not far from the shrine. I've never seen beautiful white doves in Tokyo but in Kamakura.
After lunch at a restaurant in Komachi Dori (the street food), we visited a well-known place like Daibutsu. The Buddha statue was enormous.
Next, we depart from Hase Station for Enoshima Station. The train here was cute and vintage. I didn't take a photo, but we could see the sea from the train. Everyone on the train looked out from the window and enjoyed seeing the sea.
We took many pictures at Enoshima Benten Bridge. When we reached Enoshima, our friends showed me this secret spot where we needed to walk through a narrow alley. It was an excellent sunset scenery.
Finally, we went to the shrine on the hill in the evening. The shrine was decorated with colorful lights.
I've heard that there are many cats on Enoshima Island, but I only found 2 cats on this trip. This orange cat was sitting on the rock on my way back to the station. This cat was like an idol because many tourists took photos of him.
I went home to Tokyo by Katase-Enoshima Station. The station was so fancy, and I loved how creative it was.
