Memories of August 📷💭

Hello everyone reading this staff blog! Nice to meet you.
I’m Su Pyae Htet from the Department of International Media, Faculty of International Relations.
This is my first time posting on the staff blog! August is nearly coming to an end. So today, I’d like to look back on how I spent my August!
Memories of August ① Harry Potter Studio
At the start of August, I went to the Harry Potter Studio!
The second I arrived, I was absolutely over the moon (lol).
I even bought a robe, and I felt just like a Hogwarts student! I had such a great time, all excited and happy♪
It was so much fun to step inside and experience the world I’d only seen in the movies!

Memories of August ② School Festival Executive Committee Training Camp
Next, I went on a training camp with everyone from the school festival executive committee!
For me, this camp turned into a wonderful memory that made me think, “I truly enjoyed this summer!”

Memories of August ③ Off to Yokohama!
And my last memory from August is going to hang out in Yokohama!
I went there on a weekday with three friends, and none of us knew there was a fireworks festival that day.
I remember the three of us walking along, wondering, “Why are there so many people here?” (lol).

We rode both a boat 🛥️ and a ropeway 🚠 that day!

Yokohama has a different atmosphere from Tokyo, and it even felt somewhat like being overseas.
Also, the three friends I hung out with that day spoke almost entirely in English!
It was such a day that for a moment, I almost forgot I was in Japan.

How did you spend your August?
What was your August like?
Whether you went traveling, hung out with friends, or took it easy… I’m sure everyone has made all kinds of wonderful summer memories.
I hope this summer has become one filled with lovely memories for you too!✨
