The Clash of Red vs. Red

It had been a while since I felt this fired up.

Even before the match began, I was more hyped than usual for a Urawa Reds game.

I think it was because I could feel that intense, electric tension between two red-clad rivals—Urawa Reds and Kashima Antlers—right there in the stadium.

Honestly, from the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt several times more intense than usual.

There were so many people, even at a glance.

By the time I stepped into the stadium, I was already buzzing with excitement.

That’s exactly why I wanted to win so badly.

If we had won, I could’ve gone home in such a great mood... but instead, I left feeling pretty down.

Still, I got to see some people I hadn’t seen in a long time, and I got to enjoy some delicious food too—so in that sense, I’d say it wasn’t all bad.

But deep down, I really wanted that win.

That’s the honest truth.

That said, it’s not over yet.

We’ve got to keep fighting until the very end, without giving up.

That’s how I’ve decided to reset my mindset and move forward.
