Trip to Korea

Nice to meet you! I’m Yumeka, a first-year student in the Department of International Relations.
Today, I’d like to share a bit about my graduation trip to Korea with my friends!
As many of you probably know, Korea is very close to Japan—it only took a little over two hours by plane.
We stayed for five days and four nights, and I’d love to introduce two of my favorite spots from the trip!
The first place is everyone’s favorite: Lotte World!
What I loved most was that the wait times for attractions were about a quarter of what you’d experience at places like Disneyland or USJ, so we got to enjoy lots of rides!
We also got to wear Korean school uniforms and enjoy delicious Korean food, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend it.
The second spot is Naksan Park!
If you’re a fan of K-dramas, you probably already know this place—it’s been featured in so many shows.
Seeing the same views in real life that I’d seen in dramas was honestly so moving.
Going during the day was nice, but the night view was even more beautiful with all the lights. No matter the season, it’s stunning at night, so I definitely recommend visiting after sunset!
For an overseas trip, Korea is pretty affordable and full of things to enjoy—so I hope you all get a chance to visit too!
