Otaku and DisneySea!!

Hi everyone, it's Haruka!
Not long ago, I went to DisneySea with some of my fellow otaku friends!
We had such an amazing time, so I wanted to share it here on the blog!
The first place we headed to was the popular new area, Fantasy Springs!
Peter Pan was there to welcome us!

We headed over to one of the most popular attractions in the area — “Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey”!
Since it’s such a popular ride, we made sure to line up first thing, but since it was the weekend, we ended up waiting for two whole hours!
Still, we had so much fun chatting the entire time that the wait didn’t feel long at all.
We’re both big fans of the idol group i☆Ris, so we got to talk a lot about our favorite members — it made me so happy!
Of course, I also made sure to get in some solid “ota-katsu” (fan activities) while we were there — like taking pics of my oshi with something that looked like a castle in the background.
My favorite member is Himika Akaneya from i☆Ris!
i☆Ris is an idol group that’s celebrating their 13th debut anniversary this year. Since they’ve been around for a long time, the members also do a lot of solo activities.
The photo I brought is a signed cheki I got from Himika-chan at her solo live this August!
I was so lucky to pull it — I was seriously over the moon. I even carry it around in my wallet all the time (lol).

While we were walking around the park, we came across this mural!
It turns out it was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Duffy & Friends this year.
The rainbow-themed design was absolutely adorable!
We just happened to stumble upon it by chance, but I’m so glad we were able to take a photo of it!

At night, we watched the parade!
It was truly moving to see stories from Peter Pan, Aladdin, Anna and Elsa, and so many other characters come to life right in front of us.
One line that really stuck with me was: “Never give up on your dreams.” I still can’t get it out of my head.
Since we watched it at night, the lights and fireworks bursting across the night sky made it all the more magical — I couldn’t take my eyes off it.
I wasn’t able to get any photos of the parade, so instead, here’s a shot of DisneySea at night!

And just like that, our magical day came to an end!
I feel so lucky to have spent it in such a fun place with people who share the same passions as me.
Since we also see each other at concerts and events, I hope we can stay close and continue making great memories together!
I had such an amazing time!!
Huge thanks to the fellow otaku I went with — and to DisneySea for the unforgettable day.
That’s all for now! This was Haruka!
