Trip to the UK"

Hello, my name is Komatsu, a first-year student in the Department of Welfare Psychology, Faculty of Human Society.
Today, I’d like to talk about my trip to the UK in March! The first place I visited was Edinburgh. Carrying my luggage uphill there was quite a struggle.
Looking back, Edinburgh is full of steep slopes, and I honestly admire the people who live there. For me, it was a real challenge—but in the end, it turned out to be a great exper

One of the highlights was seeing Edinburgh Castle standing tall against the night sky. It was an incredible sight. Later on, I even got to tour the inside of the castle, which was also fascinating.

In London, I went to a LEGO exhibit. I wasn’t expecting much at first, but I was completely blown away.

To my surprise, there was a LEGO version of Big Ben! I couldn’t believe how accurately it was recreated using LEGO blocks.
Next to it was a figure of Sherlock Holmes. While the Big Ben model looked so realistic that it was hard to tell it was made of LEGO, the Sherlock Holmes figure still had that LEGO-like appearance.
Because of that contrast, I realized just how high the level of detail in the Big Ben model was.

You can even tell from the photo how incredibly well-made it is.

Honestly, I had underestimated LEGO, but this exhibit truly impressed me.

These experiences with LEGO and Edinburgh Castle may be very different from what we’ll do at the school festival, but I’m just as excited to help make the event lively and enjoyable!

I’ll do my best to contribute to the International Festival. On the day of the school festival, please come visit our booth, take part in our activities, and have a great time with us!
