～The reason I joined the school festival executive committee～

Hello! I am Nanami Koga, a first-year student in the Department of Language and Communication, Faculty of English Communication.
Today, I am planning to write a blog about why I joined the school festival executive committee.
Originally, I was a member of the cultural festival executive committee for two years in high school.
This photo was taken on the day of our high school cultural festival in my third year. The thing hanging from above is actually made out of Styrofoam! During the five days leading up to the festival, I stayed until nearly 8 p.m. every night and went to school at 7:30 a.m. in the mornings. As someone who loves sleeping, I can now hardly believe how much adrenaline I had back then (laughs). I think I was so absorbed and passionate about what I was doing that I enjoyed it to the fullest.
Because I had this kind of experience, I decided even before entering university that I wanted to be involved in activities to make the school festival more exciting! Now, I truly feel that being part of the committee has been a lot of fun, and I’m glad I joined. I will continue to work hard toward the upcoming festival!
