ello everyone! I'm Kazuki, the chairperson of the 57th Annual School Festival Executive Committee!
At the end of my last blog, I mentioned Charlie Puth’s concert, and today I’d like to share that experience with you—finally!

On December 17, 2024, I got to attend Charlie Puth’s long-awaited “Something New” concert!
Actually, it was my very first live concert ever. I was a little nervous, wondering what the atmosphere would be like, but the moment I stepped into the venue, all those worries completely vanished.
As soon as Charlie appeared on stage, the crowd erupted in cheers, and I felt an instant sense of unity—it was like being in a dream. His hit songs like “Attention” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore” were absolutely amazing, of course, but he also performed some new songs, which made the experience feel fresh and deeply moving!!!!!!!

Experiencing live music made me realize just how different it is from listening to CDs or streaming. Charlie’s voice and the sound of his piano resonated deep within me—it truly moved my heart.
His talk segments between songs were also full of humor, and I could really feel his personality, which made me love him even more!🫶
I’m so glad that my first concert was Charlie Puth. That night, I fully felt the power of music, the magic of live performances, and the specialness of “being there.” I definitely want to go again!

The towels at the merch stand were sold out, so I couldn’t get one, but we all bought matching keychains instead! Since keychains are easier to carry around every day, maybe it was meant to be.

Here’s one of my favorite photos from the night. The excitement lingered so much that we all sang together on the way back to the station. Oh, and now that I think about it—we were singing in the taxi on the way there too! (Don’t worry, the driver gave us permission.)
