Yokohama Chinatown!!

Hello! I'm Hinata Shirane, a third-year student in Language Communication! How were your summer vacation memories? Today, I’d like to share a memory from the last day of my summer break.
On the final night, I visited Yokohama Chinatown for the very first time in my life! It didn’t feel like I was in Japan; it felt like a different country. I was able to experience Chinese and Taiwanese culture to that extent!

What I’m holding in my hand is called Da-Ji-Pai, a Taiwanese dish! It’s hard to convey in the photo, but it was huge about the size of my face, which was surprising!

This is a popular food in Chinatown shaped like a panda’s face! It’s similar to meat buns or sweet buns, but with cream or various fillings inside! It was really cute.

This is Taiwanese beer! I hadn’t seen it in Japan before, so I was curious and ended up buying it. It tastes a bit different from Japanese beer, so if you come across it, definitely give it a try!
I’ve shared my memories of Yokohama Chinatown this time! It was a lot of fun to experience foreign culture and food in Japan, making for a really enjoyable memory! Thank you for reading up to this point!
