A Memorable End to Summer Vacation
Hi! My name is Sanu, and I'm a third-year student majoring in International Relations in the E-Track program. I'm also a proud member of the PR team.
As summer comes to an end, it's clear that our summer vacation has finished and a new semester has begun. I hope everyone had a great time this summer! Personally, the last week of summer vacation was the most fun for me.
During the final week, I had a lot of exciting experiences. I spent a day in Shin-Okubo with my friends, where we enjoyed Bingsu, a popular Korean dessert made of finely shaved ice topped with sweetened condensed milk, fruits, and other sweet toppings. It’s a perfect treat for a hot summer day!
We also tried a unique Korean dish—live octopus and raw marinated crab. It involves eating small pieces of octopus that are still moving and the other being just as the name says, which was a daring and adventurous experience for us!
The week ended with a special event—I attended my friend's graduation ceremony at Tokyo International University (TIU). It was wonderful to see my friend reach such an important goal, and it reminded me how important it is to work hard and stay dedicated.
To celebrate her graduation, we decided to go to SPOCHA, Round 1, where we spent the whole night playing arcade games, jumping on trampolines, and bowling. My favorite was the trampoline, where my friends kept trying to make me fall, which was so much fun!
The last week of summer vacation was the perfect mix of fun, trying new things, and celebrating with friends. It’s a week I’ll always remember!
